Java Software Engineer

Role: Back-End Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA - must come into office 2-3 times a week.

Type: Contract

Note: No third party resumes & candidate should be local to Seattle, WA.

Must Have Skills:

• Java/J2EE experience, Extremely strong DS + Algorithm knowledge.
• Developing restful API S using Java, and having experience with Spring Boot/MVC frameworks,

Preferred:

• Scala, Python, NodeJS, JavaScript/HTML5, CSS3, Flink, Kafka, database experience (SQL/NOSQL/MONGODB)

Years of Experience:

• BS/BA in CS or related field + 5 years of relevant experience
• MS in CS or related field + 3 years of relevant experience.

Project:

• Candidate will be designing new experiences, using Java for client and advertisers to promote their products, manage their advertising campaigns, and improve sales.
• Candidate will build and deploy Ads Attribution and Charging Projects
• Perform testing and bug fixing.
• Provide production release and postproduction support.
• Create/update functional technical artifacts.

Day to Day:

• Build highly available scalable user facing applications and RESTful public API s.
• Develop systems using Java
• Operate within an internal open-source community.
