CAD Designer/Technician - Transportation Roadway

MKEC is looking for a CAD Designer and Technician to join our Transportation team at our Wichita, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, or Overland Park locations. This position will assist project engineers and designers with preparation of construction plans for DOT, Turnpike, county and municipal transportationprojects.

Responsibilities:

• Provide drafting support to engineers and designers of transportation projects for DOT, municipal and county related projects.
• Create drawings with input from designers and engineers.
• Incorporate red line changes in existing drawings, as directed by designers and engineers.
• Assist project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
• Attention to details and use of drawing standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Autodesk products (Civil 3D) and/or MicroStation products (OpenRoads, InRoads or Geopak)
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
• Demonstrates personal initiative, positive outlook and desire to learn.
• Time management skills.
