For more information, visit www.hormelfoods.com {target=" blank" rel="noopener"}and {target=" blank" rel="noopener"}.RESPONSIBILITIES:This position is accountable for all activities associated with plant safety and health programs, medical services, safety training, recordkeeping, and the security of the Dold Foods facility.RESPONSIBILITIES:Works closely with salaried and hourly employees to design, develop, implement, and maintain all safety and health programs which meet established Hormel Foods Corporate Safety Policies and OSHA standards.Minimizes worker compensation costs through the effective management of medical services to include establishing effective working relationships with local medical professionals.Oversees the onsite medical department and ensures the proper reporting and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses.Oversees the outside security company and all facets of the security program to ensure the plant and its grounds are safe and secure.Leads the Dold Safety Committee.Maintains positive Company-employee relations.Coordinating the development and delivery of training solutions and monitoring the effectiveness of these programs.Provides coaching and guidance to ensure others become effective trainers of safety and security information.
