**Description**

**Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Assist with department planning, execution, and reaching department goals

* Oversee hiring, training, and scheduling according to business needs and adjust staffing as necessary

* Lead coach, motivate and professionally develop all team members and management ensuring that all Guest First standards as well as correct operating procedures are being followed

* Oversee the procedural control of all inventory and non-inventory items and expenses

* Assess and manage cost of sales for all locations and for-profit analysis through active margin and operational management

* Assist with the design and set up of visual displays to maximize marketing opportunities

* Understand games set up and be able to suggest adjustments to rule, pricing, prizes, and physical orientation of games to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability

* Perform manager on duty shifts and tasks when assigned

* Promote a safe work environment and ensure all safety procedures and processes are implemented

* Ensure 100% compliance of all standard operating procedures as they relate to Six Flags policy and any associated Federal, State, local, or OSHA guidelines

* Ensure that all safety goals are achieved

* Other duties as assigned

**Organizational Structure:**

* Reports to Retail, Games, & Attractions Manager

* Supervise, lead, and motivate Seasonal Retail, Games, & Attractions Team Members and Management Staff

**The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:**

* Outstanding leadership, team building, and motivational skills

* Minimum of two years of management experience required

* Leadership experience with midway style games and/or retail experience, preferably in a high volume/high unit environment such as a theme park

* Ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner

* Excellent communication skills. The ability to provide clear, concise verbal and written communication

* Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and comfortable with inventory management applications.

* Good analytical skills to assess reports and trends

* The willingness to support park-wide safety initiatives and maintain OSHA compliance

* Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, sit, and stoop constantly throughout the shift. Work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions

* Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed
