Maintenance Supervisor (Second or Third Shift)

Adecco is representing a client seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for second or third shifts to lead a team in maintaining equipment and facilities. Join us and play a key role in ensuring our client s operations run smoothly and efficiently, even during off-peak hours.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise skilled and unskilled maintenance workers.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including building codes and safety standards.
• Support the company's Core Values and Leadership Behaviors.
• Maximize facility/department performance indicators to align with organizational strategy.
• Support department lean initiatives, including maintaining 5S requirements.
• Manage department activities in the absence of the maintenance manager.
• Handle employee relations, including complaints and problem resolution.
• Conduct monthly department meetings and complete performance evaluations.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies for essential equipment.
• Oversee all preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain SAP and CMMS software and related documentation.
• Obtain quotes from contractors as needed.
• Mentor and direct department staff.
• Ensure all contractors have appropriate documentation.
• Identify, recommend, and authorize training activities for the department.
• Develop and monitor maintenance schedules and budgets.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman/woman trade certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years in a maintenance machining environment and two years in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft and other software applications.
• Willingness to engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry changes and new technologies.
