Field Service Technician

Job description

We are looking for experienced mechanical service technicians. Sign-on bonus for those who qualify.


Must be comfortable commuting to Castle Rock, CO on a daily basis.

No relocation packages are available.

Travel all of Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.

Starting pay listed. A 90-day review of job performance and pay will take place. Experience determines pay.


Your role:

  • Responsible for fixing commercial and industrial boilers and ancillary equipment by performing boiler inspections, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing service calls. You will represent the company with a professional appearance and fun, positive attitude. Excellent customer service is a must to be successful.


In this position, you will:

  • Make excellent customer service a priority by pleasing our customers, providing thorough and timely recommendations, and top-notch service.
  • Perform service calls, perform inspections, identify equipment malfunctions, and provide solutions.
  • Optimize boiler room operations, troubleshoot equipment faults in a timely manner, and conduct preventative maintenance.
  • Perform start-ups on boilers and ensure equipment is brought online to run safely and correctly.
  • Identify aging equipment and talk to customers about upgrade options.
  • Lead internal teams on projects and instruct junior techs.
  • Follow all safety practices and remain updated on applicable certifications.
  • Travel up to 60% of the time as required. Up to 2 weeks per month.


Skills, experience, and qualities that help you be successful:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Be a self-starter and can work unsupervised.
  • Ability to manage and adapt to change, adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with a variety of personalities.
  • Have a desire to learn and develop yourself.
  • Must have a valid driver s license and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a drug and background test.


Physical demands and work environment:

  • Must operate within the context of established objectives. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, work in confined spaces, lift a minimum of 100 pounds, and work in a boiler room with temperatures of 110-120 degrees. The employee must be able to see. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, squat, crouch, crawl, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.


Provided for success:

  • For your success, the following is provided- On the job training and continued learning with manufacturing training, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and uniforms. Work boots are the responsibility of the employee, transportation to and from the job site, certifications in safety including confined space, CPR, and first aid with monthly safety meetings.
  • Benefits are available after 90 days of employment. 80% of the employees health benefits are company covered.

Salary: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
