Job Summary:

This is a great opportunity for a visionary CEO to partner with the two owners/leaders who are transitioning to part-time roles and will move into Chairman/Board roles over the course of the next year. The Company is a diversified supplier of products to hundreds of customers on the West Coast as well as having some international exposure.


As CEO, you will play a central role driving the growth of the business and further penetrating the diverse markets for the Company s products. There is a strong second-tier of management with leaders in place for each division so it will be important to manage these leaders while determining what markets to focus on and where to dedicate resources.


In order to be successful, you must be a sales-oriented executive with a track record of growing revenues in blue-collar businesses; ideally at a PE backed organization.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall growth strategy to expand market share within existing channels and with current customer base.
  • Identify and pursue new customers within existing and new end markets.
  • Set company revenue and profit goals by division/product line.
  • Manage and motivate a capable set of functional leaders to achieve revenue and profitability growth objectives.
  • Utilize available resources and financial statements to determine progress in achieving objectives; revise objectives and plans in accordance with current and/or changing conditions.
  • Identify and improve on operational deficiencies; continue to professionalize the business as it scales.
  • Communicate with the Board on an ongoing basis and present to Board on a quarterly basis.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities with 5+ years of executive management experience.
  • Experience leading a blue-collar business.
  • Track record of robust sales growth and expanding profitability.
  • Strong preference for a proven general athlete with exceptional drive, passion, and history of results.
  • P&L management experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, motivate, and retain exceptional talent.
  • Prior experience successfully leading and growing a private equity backed business preferred.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to set and exceed exceptional revenue and profit targets.
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and negotiating skills.
  • Energetic, positive, driven, and proactive.
  • Strategic entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Bachelor s degree or extensive business-related experience.
