Clinic MA/LPN - Allergy Injections

Location: 519 S Monroe Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301

Shift Hours:

Full time and Part Time availability (24-32 hours/week), days; Monday-Friday; no call; no weekends or holidays!

Job Description:

This role's primary responsibility is supporting the jobs within the allergy injection laboratory/clinic. Responsible for assisting providers with patient care by controlling and administering allergy injections, maintaining patient flow, obtaining and documenting necessary history and vital signs, managing patient reactions alongside an onsite provider, and providing patient education.

Responsible for care delivered under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse. Records patient care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient's condition; consults with RN/Provider when uncertain about care delivery; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; OR graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program (must obtain WI LPN license within three months).

If Medical Assistant: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification required within three months of hire.

Previous clinic experience preferred.
