Date Posted:2024-04-02Country:United States of AmericaLocation:HCO03: Mission Systems (Ejec Seating) 1225 Aeroplaza Drive , Colorado Springs, CO, 80916 USAPosition Role Type:OnsiteThis is a entry-mid-level position that assembles aircraft products under minimal supervision, and performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and procedures on our ACES Ejection Seats.Primary Responsibilities:Assembles products by reading blueprints and work instructions, including the use of measuring devices (scales, calipers etc.) with minimal supervisionPerforms sheet metal riveting functions using hand tools such as a rivet gun, rivet gun, shaver, rivet squeeze, hand clamps, bucking bars, drill press, pneumatic drill and specialized features to build sub-assembliesMay track and receive the required parts for product area. May check stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners for the particular runContacts material handler or lead if shortages exist or incorrect parts are in binsMay pack finished product into designated cartonPerforms necessary tasks to ensure on-time delivery of the productCross trains and work in all areas of assembly operationAdheres to all UTAS rules and codes of conductEnsures quality product utilizing UTAS quality proceduresLooks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplaceProvides continuous improvement ideas in order to support lean and ACE initiativesMay perform other job duties as required and available for overtime as necessaryThis position is 100% onsite.Qualifications/Experience Needed:HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
