General Summary
As a Pipe Utility Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of underground utility piping systems. Your role will involve managing a team of skilled workers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining project schedules.
The Pipe Foreman supervises and works alongside a crew of employees and occasionally subcontractors when needed to assist in installing water, sewer, and storm drains. The incumbent will supervise work through planning and scheduling work and reviewing and approving tasks. The individual will practice absolute confidentiality. Good judgment and common sense are required in all duties and other assigned tasks. Normal work hours are the day or night shift, eight (8) to fourteen (14) hours Monday through Friday. There may be weekend work, depending on the contract. This job description provides an overview of the responsibilities and tasks to be performed.
