Job description

Specific Job Functions:

  • Prepare all soups, sauces, and specials for each outlet; weigh, measure, slice, dice, and chop products needed for a recipe.
  • Apportion food items for each outlet in accordance with quality control standards.
  • Maintain production records and recipes.
  • Utilize and prepare leftover or excess food product in an effort to minimize waste.
  • Consistently maintain a clean and orderly work area while adhering to sanitation and safety policies and procedures.
  • Other job related duties as assigned


Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • Must understand Health Department regulations and fully comply with sanitation standards.
  • Must be able to properly use a thermometer.
  • Must have knowledge of proper cooking temperatures and appropriate corrective actions for all foods.
  • Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • High School Education or equivalent required.
