THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FOR SUMMER WORK.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports Craft persons with various nonlicensed duties and extensive grounds work.
• Assists in the completion of general fieldwork.
• Performs other reasonable related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a university or community college. Proof of registration may be required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to clear a background check.
• Must possess a physical condition sufficient to maintain a rigorous work schedule.
• Requiring continuous physical exertion and heavy lifting.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an environment where:
  • Conditions are somewhat unpleasant due to dust.
  • Most of the day is spent, standing, walking, and climbing.
• Ability to use good judgment and deal successfully with students, teachers, staff and the general public during and after school hours.
• Demonstrated ability to follow orders written or oral from theSupervisor.
• Ability to operate and maintain necessary equipment.
• Ability and willingness to learn and perform various functions in the Maintenance department.
• Ability to work successfully with other employees.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Ability to stoop, bend, twist, walk, carry and lift for eight hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

This job is 20 - 40 hours per week.

Salary: $15.45 per hour (increase to $15.95 per hour on July 1, 2024)...
