Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm (On-Site)

Annual Salary: up to 80k annually DOE.

Job Summary:

The Implementation Developer is tasked with providing comprehensive life cycle support for both production environments and developmental efforts. This role involves creating software extensions, modifications, and new features for both existing and emerging product lines, particularly focusing on payment/claims interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer end-to-end support for code alterations within production environments and the development of new extensions for current platforms.
  • Employ innovative problem-solving techniques and critical thinking to address complex data-centric issues.
  • Analyze business requirements and define the scope of programming tasks.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in system architectures and database system models.
  • Contribute actively to an agile and responsive application development organization.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong command of SQL Server, including the ability to analyze intricate stored procedures.
  • Extensive experience in data conversion from diverse systems and file formats.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Development technologies such as C#, SQL, SSRS, and AzureDevOps/TFS.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and effectively communicate with diverse teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, encompassing analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and issue resolution abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously in resolving business challenges.
  • Industry experience in group health insurance, workers' compensation, third-party administrators (TPA), or professional benefit administration.
  • Experience collaborating with offshore teams.


Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with healthcare EDI standards like 835s.
  • Proficiency in job scheduling tools.
  • Experience with VMware.
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports.
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools.
  • Proficiency in ETL tools for data mapping.
