Security Office is responsible for providing protection to guests, employees and hotel property. Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the hotel for undesirable persons and irregularities. Monitor all activities for unauthorized removal of property. Write detailed reports on incidents and accidents, administer first aid/CPR, and serve the public. Observe all departmental rules and regulations, dress code and appearance, behave in professional manner; demonstrate a friendly attitude to co-workers and all other hotel staff. Promote guest and employee safety/security through strict adherence to hotel policies and procedures. Maintain certification in CPR/first aid in order to be responsive to guest and employee needs in emergency situations. : Patrol property to ensure secure and safe conditions in accordance with Portola Hotel & Spa policies and procedures. Document any security or safety problem on shift reports, incident reports or maintenance reports. Provide assistance to other departments as directed and consistent with Portola Hotel & Spa policies. Must have open and flexible availability to work as needed due to the changes in business.
