HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

The Select Group is looking for a Help Desk Technician to join our client. Our ideal candidate has excellent Windows 10 admin experience, PC/Desktop troubleshooting, and excellent O365 support experience. This is a REMOTE role working 8-5 EST hours. HELP DESK TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

Windows 10 administrative experience

  • Heavy acquisition flow by acquiring insurance agencies so they have a lot of tickets to swap old company computer to new equipment
  • Ensuring that no loss in documents or applications when migrating from old company computer to new company computer
  • Installing hardware to computers
  • i.e. printer and scanner installation


3+ years experience as a help desk T1 consultant

  • Active Directory experience
  • PW reset
  • Onboarding and offboarding of user accounts
  • Software used: Solarwinds & Ncentral
  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite (all the above, plus some) through online ticketing tool


O365 Enterprise experience

  • Issuing of Microsoft licensing
  • Everything from Exchange Plan 1 to Office 365 licensing
  • Creating identities in M365
  • Troubleshooting 365 applications
  • Setting up 365 on employee computers



HELP DESK TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide remote IT support (through phone and email)
  • Troubleshoot any IT issues that arise
  • Complete initial triage, and escalate if needed
  • Supporting over 1,700+ users
