He looked my house over and then sat down with me and explained exactly what the entire house selling procedure would look like from start to finish. We then decided on a price based on his knowledge of real estate in my area and the marketability of my house. I signed on the dotted line as they say and we were off running. A couple days later he scheduled an Open House which another member of the Compass Team, Becca, was in charge of. She did a super job with this and even reached out and met all of my immediate neighbors, something that they were very impressed with and appreciated. I wish I could say that the rest of the process went as smoothly but it didn't. There were some problems with the inspection, repairs had to be made and then the closing date kept getting moved back due to paperwork issues with the buyers. But this is the benefit of using a licensed realtor. At times I'm sure I was not the easiest person to get along with as we started hitting these bumps along the way.
