To learn more about Berry, visit PURPOSE: Berry Global is looking for a packer inspector. As a member of this team, you will be responsible foroperating thermoplastic extruders and associated production equipment to convert plastic resins into blown film for flexible plastic sheeting, tubing or bags, and efficiently producing a finished product on a timely basis that meets all customer product specifications. Responsibilities Alert Setup Technician and Changeover Technician using the light system to keep them informed of production status Keep the work area clean and clutter free: pick up scrap material around the production lines and cut scrap off cores. Perform quality control checks on product and ensure all are properly labeled before stacking finished product. Packages bags/rolls and keeps accurate counts in computer system Helps the team give 10 and 20 minute breaks Alerts Setup Techs to questions or concerns by utilizing white stack light Assembles boxes Performs quality control checks on product and labels Stacks finished product Help pick up scrap around his/her lines, including change-over rolls.. Throws away all labels from previous job Keeps work area clean and clutter free; including tables, scales and floors Weighs boxes and enters into the computer system Pulls resin as needed Weighs, packages and labels finished product Might be used for training new person.
