**JOB DESCRIPTION:**

We are looking for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) Billing Specialist to join our Smart Vehicle Solutions Contact Centre located in Markham. Our team has been in place for more than 20 years assisting the public, vehicle owners, operators, and inspection centres across North America.

Reporting into the Billing Operations Manager, the Billing Specialist is responsible for responding to billing related inquires via various service channels such as phone and chat. In addition, they perform administrative tasks to support the full billing cycle such as reconciliation and validation of inspection fees.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Handling billing inquiries via telephone calls, emails, web-tickets, and chat interactions from customers

* Prepare daily payment reports for leadership team

* Prepare monthly operational reports for various billing projects

* Work with Billing Manager to resolve billing issues

* Maintain service levels and adhere to departmental statistics

* Work with minimal supervision within departmental defined standard operating procedures

* Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

* Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish

* Good understanding of Microsoft Office Excel

* Minimum 2 (two) years customer service experience

* Pleasant telephone manner

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to multitask without compromising the accuracy of your work

* Work independently and as part of a team, with changing time constraints

* Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred

* Must be flexible to work a shift ranging between 8:00AM-7:00PM, Monday to Friday and on occasion weekends

* Must be flexible to work Canadian holidays
