**Job Description and Responsibilities**

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

* This individual directly manages the department cabin attendants, and is trained and qualified in cabin safety and equipment specific to the aircraft as well as inflight medical emergencies.

* You will monitor cabin and catering expenses for fiscal responsibility.

* The Cabin Attendant is responsible for quality control oversight over the aircraft cabin and passenger service.

* You will ensure highest levels of safety and service are achieved relating to passenger and cabin safety, medical requirements, catering and special requests

* You will ensure currency with all training required by the FAA and company flight operations manual, retaining these records for inspection

* You will ensure compliance with all standards set forth in the companys flight operations manual

* Maintains training qualifications for flight operation-applicable regulatory and safety management system requirements, including annual emergency procedures training (emergency scenarios and drills, inflight medical emergencies, security, hazardous material recognition, knowledge of drug and alcohol programs, food safety)

* Maintains proficiency in procedures for handling inflight medical emergencies

* You will develop and maintains detailed passenger and cabin equipment standard operating procedures

**Essential Functions**

* You possess advanced administrative and communication skills necessary to coordinate with the aircrew and attend to passenger needs

* You have expert skills in decision-making and building partnerships internally and externally

* You have effective communication skills with the ability to communicate and build cross-functional relationships

* You will work with all levels of personnel and effectively interact with senior and executive management. Demonstrated effective communications to include written and verbal

* You have excellent planning and organization skills and business judgment, including the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions/initiatives

* Yo have the ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and help promote a professional organization

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Basic Qualifications**

* 5 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or equivalent with applicable experience as a Corporate Cabin Attendant

* Extensive knowledge and training in aircraft safety procedures; the use of aircraft safety equipment to include first aid kits, oxygen equipment, survival equipment, and AED

* Extensive knowledge of meal planning, safe food storage and handling, and catering

* Excellent customer service skills and the ability interact comfortably with senior level executives to establish and maintain control of the cabin environment

**Preferred Qualifications**

* 8 or more years of work experience or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree with relevant experience as a Cabin Attendant.

**Work Hours:**

* Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours

**Travel Requirements:**

* This position requires the incumbent to travel frequently and may be for long durations.

**Mental/Physical Requirements:**

* The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand and travel frequently -- communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds
