Maintenance Technician

Express Employment has partnered with a company located in Waipahu that is seeking a few skilled Technicians to join their team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in keeping our equipment running smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in Caterpillar equipment and more
• Perform repairs and maintenance in the shop and field
• Rebuild and overhaul major components according to manufacturer specifications
• Assist with minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Attend training classes and maintain required certifications
• Uphold safety standards and adhere to company policies
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
• Contribute to a collaborative and results-oriented team environment

Physical Demands:

The job requires various physical activities including but not limited to walking, lifting, reaching, climbing, and working in diverse environments.

What you'll bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• PC skills
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
• Experience with hand tools and a willingness to provide your own
• At least 2 years of experience in equipment repair (5 years preferred)
