**Construction Lead/Handyman**

Part-Time in Chico, CA Chico-based DigitalPath, Inc. is seeking to hire a full time or part-time Handyman to perform small remodeling jobs, general plumbing and electrical repairs. The work will include, but not limited to, laying commercial carpet, removal of non-bearing walls, construct non-bearing walls, tape, texture, painting, replace outlets, repair faucets, fix toilets, sprinklers, etc. To minimize disruptions to operations the preferred hours are mornings and/or weekends. All projects are small enough for 1 person. We have staff available to assist with larger projects as needed. This is the perfect position for someone with or without a construction license.

This position is ideal for someone looking for extra work or someone that is semi-retired looking to make some extra money. If you are interested in joining our growing team and have the experience, abilities, and qualifications in any or all these areas we want to hear from you!

**Duties include but are not limited to:**

Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.

Joins materials with the most appropriate nail, screw, staple, or adhesive.

Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.

Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Job Type: Part Time**

**Hourly Rate: $20-$30/hr.**

Qualifications

**Experience/Education:** Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; OR at least three years of experience via on-the-job training required.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

* Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.

* Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.

* Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
