Growmark HIRING MANAGER: Molly Fanning PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Under the direction of the Customer Settlement Manager, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for all grain administrative activity and general account management to support assigned FS GRAIN customers.

While performing these job functions, the CSR will help

strengthen relationships with FS GRAIN customers to allow for market share growth. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Position will be considered the local expert in regard to settlements, splits, and overall account management, with an in-depth knowledge of preferences among a select list of producers.

Ability to provide cash bids with a basic understanding of all contract types offered as it relates to their fees and payment options. Assist in maintaining complete and accurate records in accordance with company grain policies including entering grain purchases in the companys hedging platform in a timely fashion. Customer account maintenance including application to contracts, updating records and settlements. Contract maintenance including daily application and reconciliation, application of storage bushels and maintenance of state contracts. Maintain customer accounts receivable and grain payables for designated elevator and/or customer list.

Use a Customer Relationship Management system to manage customer contacts, profiles, opportunities, and other pertinent business details. Promote and assist patrons with customer technology. Assist in creating a positive work environment with encouraging and respectful interactions that promotes a consistent message of leadership, profitability, and competitiveness. Adhere to company policy regarding expense, PTO, and vehicle usage reporting. Maintains a clean and professional appearance and provides courteous, timely and professional customer service.

Attends all required meetings and training programs. Learn the requirements of scale operations at the location the Customer Settlement Representative works from. Promote FS GRAINs safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures. Effectively communicate with facility manager, operations staff, and members of the customer service team as needed. Other duties may be assigned. REQUIREMENTS Associates degree or 2 years of grain accounting experience preferred. Customer service experience in agriculture preferred. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and ag accounting software.

Prefer knowledge of cooperative philosophies and principles. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, have the ability to work independently, and travel when necessary. Must be able to work hours beyond those considered normal when necessary. This position may require a location change up to 35 miles from your currently assigned location. KEY COMPETENCIES Demonstrates the aptitude and proficiency to learn and fully utilize the Grain Accounting System with the ability to generate necessary reports and verify deductions, freight payments, liens, and accounts payable/receivable when generating delivery sheets/settlements.

Must have strong time managements skills while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Support, instruct, and train peers on more complex accounting functions. Identify and report on inefficiencies that would allow us to better serve our customers and streamline processes. Stays current and informed on industry trends, competitive prices, and regulatory compliance. Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
