Livestock Support Specialist, MWI

********What you will be doing********

The Livestock Support Specialist will provide overall administrative support for the livestock sales team and customer service to livestock customers and manufacturers. The Livestock Support Specialist will develop and maintain successful working relationships with relevant departments at MWI that will best serve the clients, collaborating internally to ensure correct order processing, accounting, billing, and customer contract procedures are maintained; customer orders are successfully delivered; standard and ad hoc reports are provided to meet customer specifications; assist with analytical and operational solutions; and procedure documentation.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Provide all facets of customer service to key accounts including invoicing of consigned inventory, entry of buy/sell orders, researching order or inventory discrepancies

* Work collaboratively within Livestock Support team to analyze and investigate customer issues in account setup or system access by taking the appropriate action in a professional and timely manner

* Act as a resource to MWI Livestock accounts and sales staff for training and troubleshooting on ordering platforms including mwiah.com, MWI mobile app, Cubex, CSP, SLAM, XT, and any other system used by livestock accounts or the sales team to place orders

* Work with internal departments to insure information and images on our sales platforms are accurate and current, and pricing and contract information is correct

* Generate and customize weekly and monthly reports and ad hoc requests as required.

* Maintain frequent contact with internal and external customers in order to address all issues with assigned area of responsibility

* Ability to handle escalated issues by proactively evaluating and recommending solutions to Livestock Management for customer challenges including working with internal/external customer groups to resolve customer concerns

* Leads or participates in other projects as requested

* Perform related duties as assigned.

********What your background should look like********

Bachelors Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from 4-year College or technical school; or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in an Agriculture related field. Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull orders from various shelf heights; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs -50 lbs regularly is required. Occasionally will move 100 lbs from pallet to pallet. Must be able to read and understand English, have basic mathematical skills, number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination. Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required. Must be available for on-call rotation.

**MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:**

* Excellent project management skills and ability work with sales leadership in the accomplishment of common goals; ability to break down obstacles in the path of project plan

* Detailed knowledge of applicable programming languages used at ABC; strong understanding of current technologies

* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with solid time management skills

* Ability to document business requirements

* Ability to work with a broad customer base in order to understand their needs

* Good analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions

* Good interpersonal skills; effective team player

* Strong decision making skills

* Strong customer service skills

* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

* Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines

* Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint
