Job description
*Soar Autism Center is hiring for an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) to enhance our interdisciplinary team* focused on delivering outstanding care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We prioritize early intervention, integrated autism care, and the application of evidence-based methodologies tailored to the unique needs of each child and their family.
*Role Summary:*
As an SLP at Soar, your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
* Developing and executing detailed treatment plans aimed at improving the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, employing a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and instruments
* Collaborating extensively with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care
* Actively involving families in the treatment process by providing them with education, resources, and support to foster their child's speech and language development
* Regularly evaluating and documenting the progress of each child, fine-tuning interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness
*Qualifications*
* Desire to be a part of an organization working to advance the standard of autism therapy
* Master s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
* License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center (i.e., Arizona or Colorado)
* Preference to SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
* Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
* Embody a playful spirit and the ability to connect and engage with young children

**Note: The Speech Language Pathologist position at our Colorado locations are salaried positions. The Speech Language Pathologist position at our Arizona locations are session-based, ranging from $28.00 - $30.50 per 30 minute session, which equates to $85,000 - $93,000.*
