Job description

Proper Hospitality is seeking an experienced Head of Membership to join our team.


As the Head of Membership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the membership experience throughout a select number our hotels. You will lead initiatives to attract new members, drive member engagement and loyalty, and maximize the value of our membership programs.


Our ideal candidate is a creative, sales-driven leader with a proven track record in luxury membership sales as well as a deep understanding of how to deliver exceptional member experiences within the high-end hospitality market.


Key Responsibilities


  • Membership Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive strategies to attract new members, increase membership retention and drive revenue growth


  • Relationship Management: Build and sustain long-term relationships with members, ensuring a personalized and exceptional service experience


  • Membership Program Management: Oversee all aspects of our membership programs, including benefits, pricing and communication strategies


  • Member Engagement: Create engaging experiences and exclusive events to cultivate strong relationships with members and enhance their sense of belonging to our brand


  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to align membership initiatives with overall business objectives


  • Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with luxury brands, lifestyle influencers and relevant organizations to enhance the value proposition for our members


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in selling high-cost, exclusive memberships in a luxury setting
  • Strong understanding of the luxury market and what motivates high-net-worth individuals
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network and influence decision-makers
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful membership strategies
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and CRM systems
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Flexibility to travel as needed
