Job Title: Event Specialist (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado (Hybrid - 3 days a week in office)

Duration: Maternity Leave Coverage (Through end of September or October at the latest)

Job Summary: As an Event Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events. This hybrid role requires you to be on-site in Broomfield, Colorado, three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining days. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure smooth event operations and exceptional guest experiences during the maternity leave period.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute events, including corporate meetings, conferences, product launches, and social gatherings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure all aspects of the event are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Handle event marketing and promotion, including creating event materials, managing registrations, and utilizing social media platforms.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain detailed records of event activities and expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all events.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an event specialist or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, with three days a week in the Broomfield office.
  • Ability to lift and carry event materials as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
