**Description**

**SUMMARY:**The Final Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting testing procedures on Medical Devices to ensure products comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Final Quality Tech will use customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards to determine the criteria to evaluate an inspection. Knowledgeable of FDA, ISO 9001:2015, and Quality Systems is required.

**IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:**

* Test and inspect finished product prior to release

* Ensure timely inspection of devices to meet and/or exceed the customers expectations

* Utilize inspection application to document passing/failing results of daily inspections

* Recording and analyzing the results in order to determine whether to certify or reject specific products

* Interpreting results of final test data and recommending improvements

* Limited ability to use a variety of tools and gauges to measure products

* Utilize work order entry, inventory control systems and Service Work Order data base

* Accurately follow established process and procedures to inspect, test and release product

* Exercise operational awareness to help seek out new inspection processes or procedures by evaluating, identifying and recommending for reduction non-value-added steps that increase efficiencies and reduce cost

* Remain flexible, open and eager to learn/teach fellow employees in order to best always meet and exceed the customers expectations

* Provide feedback to leadership regarding quality issues with the devices and processes for continued improvement

* Understand the emerging trends in the device failures to help develop strategy to reduce or eliminate them

* Perform monthly 5S audits to measure and gauge participation and to identify areas of concern

* Understand and execute principals of 5S workplace organization

* Performs other related duties as required

* COVID Vaccination may be required based on site specific guidelines

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:**This position has no supervisory responsibilities

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:**

* High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with and a minimum of two years related. experience and/or training; Six Sigma Certification preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in quality

* Knowledgeable of FDA, ISO 9001:2015, and Quality Systems

* This position requires exceptional verbal and communication skills as well as strong organizational skills

* Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

* Ability to add, subtract, and match numbers

* Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Software and Microsoft Office Suite to include word, excel, and outlook
