Office Assistant / Administrative Assistant

Job description

A Business Management firm, located in West Los Angeles is seeking a File Clerk to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. The File Clerk will be responsible for organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, ensuring efficient and accurate document management processes. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn about the business management/financial industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Label, categorize, and file documents according to established procedures.
  • Retrieve and deliver files upon request from staff.
  • Assist with scanning, photocopying, and shredding documents as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all files and documents.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a clerical or office environment is preferred but not required.


Compensation:

  • $18/hr.
