Job Title: Bookkeeper


Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including recording journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, and preparing financial statements.
  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns, including sales tax, payroll tax, and income tax filings.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections to ensure adequate funds are available for ongoing operations.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for decision-making purposes.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in bookkeeping and accounting.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be willing to work ONSITE -San Francisco, California, 94124
