Accounting Clerk - Entry Level

Job description

Position Summary: The Accounting Clerkis responsible to assist the finance team in numerous facets including dataentry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Essential Job Functions

1. DataEntry
  • Assistin maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Inputand verify financial transactions into accounting software.
  • Reconcilebank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Assistvendors in cleaning up invoices.

2. AccountsPayable
  • Supportthe accounts payable process by processing invoices and ensuring timelypayments.
  • Verifyaccuracy of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
  • Facilitatespayment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers,reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.

3. AccountsReceivables
  • Assistwith accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections.
  • Monitorand follow up on overdue customer payments.

4. Collaboration
  • Workclosely with the finance team and other departments to gather and analyzefinancial information.
  • Collaboratewith team members on special projects and initiatives.
  • Assistwith office relate-duties.


  • Allother duties as assigned.
