Job Title: Overnight Guest Service Agent - Night Auditor

Compensation:$18/hr

The Myriad Hotel is seeking to hire a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team and help ensure exceptional guest experiences during the overnight hours by providing efficient and attentive service and performing night auditing duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests arriving during the overnight hours, providing a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently, completing all necessary documentation.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing accurate information and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Perform night auditing duties, including reconciling and balancing daily financial transactions and verifying the accuracy of guest accounts.
  • Generate reports summarizing daily financial activity, occupancy levels, and other relevant data for management review.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in guest accounts, payments, or records.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports to management and relevant departments.
  • Monitor the hotel's security and safety systems during the overnight hours, reporting any incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in guest service or front desk role is required. Night auditing experience is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and accounting software.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to reconcile and balance financial transactions accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight shifts.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
