Controller

Addison Group has partnered with a privately held construction and industrial services organization that is looking for a Corporate Controller. The Corporate Controller will be overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and fixed asset management. This role will also be responsible for prep work for all financials for month end including bank reconciliations, sales tax reports, WIP report, over/under journal entry for WIP, monthly allocations, running balance sheet & income statement & trial balance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all accounting and reporting activities including month-end and annual close.
• Review/adjust GL accounts as needed.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Reconcile AR Aging and AP Aging to balance sheet.
• Create and reconcile the WIP report, including posting over/under JE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in an accounting role.
• Ability to develop collaborative relationships across departments and experience levels.
• 3+ years of foundational training and experience in an audit role at a Big 4 firm preferred.
• CPA preferred.
