Laborer - 1st Shift

Tubular Steel, a member of the Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. family of companies, is a leading national distributor of carbon, alloy, and stainless steel pipe, tubing, and bar products.

We are currently recruiting for a Laborer for 1st shift (8am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday) at our warehouse in Lorain, OH.

**Responsibilities include:**

* Operating 7.5 ton overhead crane and tow motor;

* Operating large forklifts;

* Operating steel cutting equipment;

* Steel processing band saws, cnc type cutting lathe, grinding

* Packaging shrink wrapping, metal banding, boxing

* Inspection use of micrometers and calipers

* General duties as required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* 2-5 years experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/industrial environment;

* Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic math calculations;

* Good basic computer skills;

* Experience operating a forklift and other industrial equipment;

* Willingness to adhere to all safety rules and regulations;

* Steel experience preferred.

**Applicants must be available for shift work on all shifts.**
